In winter, it is the perfect resting place for those who want to test themselves on the most beautiful black slopes<\/strong> of the entire Dolomiti Superski, including the legendary Fodoma.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Luigi Gorza Refuge has witnessed in the development of the Porta Vescovo ski area from its beginnings under the leadership of the newly founded Sofma company. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the building of the<\/span> first ‘Arabba – Porta Vescovo’ cable car<\/b>, inaugurated in 1971<\/b><\/span>, there were already two prefabricated ‘L’ shaped buildings that housed the workers<\/span>. <\/p>\n

It was later decided to resume these early buildings to create<\/span> the historic<\/span> Porta Vescovo Refuge<\/span>.<\/b> <\/span> <\/p>\n

With the desire to enhance the ancient structure, thanks to the far-sightedness of the Gorza family combined with the vision of architect Nerino Meneghello, the Luigi Gorza Refuge<\/b> was inaugurated in its current configuration in December 1996. <\/p>\n

To complete the work, the roof of the panoramic terrace<\/b> overlooking the Sella Massif and the connecting tunnel<\/b> to the cable car station were built in 2013<\/b>. <\/p>\n

Today<\/b>, when you enter the Luigi Gorza Refuge, you are fascinated by the modern lines that harmoniously and respectfully embrace the rough, black rock that has supported this historic refuge for more than 50 years.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
